Andes Race 13K EV

The Andes Race 13k, is a trail running race in Cusco that is designed for all types of public, both for those who are just starting out in mountain races and for those who like to do short routes at high speed. The route begins in the town of Willoq and ends in the Plaza de Ollantaytambo. Along the route, you will enjoy of breathtaking vistas, passing through anden villages and archeological sites along an inkan trail where the ancient Peruvians used to walk and run many years ago.

In 2022 we will also be the first Peruvian race to be part of the WMRA World Ranking as an Associate Race. Participants in 30K and 13K distances, will be part of the Mountain Running World Ranking, which is based on 4 principles:

Transportation of Participants Andes Race 13K: Transportation is included for all participants. From Cusco – Willoc or from Ollantaytambo – Willoc (Prior Confirmation in the Register). The departure time from Cusco will be at 4:30 a.m. from Plaza San Francisco and from the Plaza de Armas de Ollantaytambo at 7:00 a.m. The ride from Cusco to Willoc is around 2 hours and from Ollantaytambo to Willoc 40 minutes. This service is provided only for participants.

Trail Running Race in Cusco

Accommodation: We recommend to all Andes Race 13K participants to stay at Ollantaytambo. There you will find a fairly wide range of hotels and you will have plenty time to rest before the race instead of taking the buses from Cusco at 4:30 am. Transport from Cusco to Willoc its around 3 hours. Instead you can take the bus from the Ollantaytambo main square at 7am and it will take 40 minutes to get to Willoc.
